Chemical Treatment - Treatment usually involves 2 or 3 applications within 20 days. We then treat all cracks, crevices, bed frames, box springs, mattress folds, furniture, and any areas where infestation may occur. Bed bugs have been developing resistance to common pesticides. We use special non resistance forming chemicals, that are also safe for children and pets once dry. All of our products are registered and applied in accordance with the EPA and label specifications. Heat Treatment - The most effective way to eliminate bed bugs in a single visit. Minimal preparation is required of the occupants and most infested items can be salvaged. Treatment typically takes 6-10 hours depending on property size and level of infestation. Rooms, furniture, and contents are heated to temperatures above 130ºF and held for several hours. This kills all stages of bed bugs, where ever they may be hiding. Fans are used to circulate the hot air, to assure proper temperatures are met. During the treatment our team constantly moves furniture, checks temperatures, and makes sure all contents are being heated properly. Once treatment is completed, it may take a few hours to reach comfortable temperatures, but you will be able to reenter and typically do not need seek sleeping arrangements at a hotel or motel.
